Nashville Predators defeat Anaheim Ducks 4-2 extend win streak to 10

Nashville PredatorsClarksville, TN – The Nashville Predators extended their franchise record win streak to 10 in a row with a hard fought win over the visiting Anaheim Ducks, 4-2 tonight at Bridgestone Arena.

In front of another sold out Smashville home crowd and the NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, the Predators fought off a furious Anaheim third period assault to clinch the victory.

Craig Smith got Nashville on the board first at 5:26 of the first period, with his wrist shot that beat Anaheim goalie John Gibson for the early 1-0 lead.  Smith was assisted by Kyle Turris and Ryan Hartman on the score.

My Two Cents: Nashville Predators Continue Historic Stanley Cup Run

My Two-Cents with Hank BonecutterClarksville, TN – They say the Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy to hoist.  Well, if you’re a Predators fan, you know this all too well.  We’re not there yet, but what a battle it’s been.

This amazing team has rolled through Chicago and St. Louis and has taken the best shots that Anaheim has thrown at them.  Anaheim has turned this series into a gutter brawl.  Cheap shots, low blows and hits AFTER the whistle, but,  WE’RE STILL STANDING!  In fact, we lead the series, 3-2.
