Nashville, TN – On October 18th, 2015 at Nissan Stadium, in their first game under interim head coach Dan Campbell, the Miami Dolphins built a commanding lead in the first half against the Tennessee Titans and never looked back, ultimately prevailing by a final score of 38-10.
The Dolphins defense rarely allowed the Titans and rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota to get comfortable. They forced a total of four turnovers – two fumbles and two interceptions – and sacked Titans quarterbacks six times, including five sacks in the first half. Left defensive end Cameron Wake was the primary antagonist, recording four sacks in the first half and forcing two fumbles, both of which were recovered by the Dolphins.

Nashville, TN – This week the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins will renew a rivalry that began in 1966, when the Dolphins entered the American Football League. The Titans are 16-19 all-time against Miami, including a playoff victory in 1978.
Although they have met 35 times in the regular season and postseason, the Titans and Dolphins have clashed only twice previously in the preseason and have not done so in 27 years. The then-Oilers lost to the Dolphins in Houston during the 1976 preseason, and then in 1989, the Oilers beat the Dolphins in a game that was played in Jacksonville, FL.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak promised Friday that he would mix things up regarding practice reps in positions where there’s open competition.
Munchak was true to his word Saturday in the first practice session as players rotated in and out with different combinations, even alternating quarterbacks Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker between the first and second units, sometimes even within the a series.
