Tennessee Titans 2013 Schedule

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans open the 2013 season at the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 8th, and they will be featured in a November primetime game against division rival Indianapolis Colts.

Tennessee opens its home schedule on September 22nd against the San Diego Chargers and will host the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers on October 20th.

Tennessee Titans routed by Green Bay Packers 55-7

Green Bay, WI – With 2:51 left in the game, the Tennessee Titans went 53 yards in 6 plays to get their only score of the day. The drive was capped off with a Jake Locker 2 yard pass to Kenny Britt for the touchdown.

The drive was the only positive moment in what was otherwise a down day for Tennessee as the Green Bay Packers romped to a 55-7 victory Sunday. Tennessee Titans are Set for the Start of Training Camp

Nashville, TN – The Titans are scheduled to begin training camp this week at Baptist Sports Park in Nashville. Rookies and quarterbacks reported on Tuesday, July 24th, and they will be joined by the remaining veterans on Friday, July 27th.

Fans of the Titans can get their first glimpse of the 2012 squad on Sunday, July 29th, the first of 13 total training camp practices that will be free for the public to attend. Peyton Manning made up his mind and he is packing up and heading to the Mile High City of Denver, CO according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

Manning talked to John Elway, Broncos Vice President of Operations, Monday morning to gave him his decision.

Tennessee Titans Name Brett Maxie Secondary Coach

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans named Brett Maxie secondary coach.

Maxie joins the Titans after spending four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys in the same role. He has 14 seasons of NFL coaching experience, including stops at Miami, Atlanta, San Francisco and Carolina.

“What stood out to me was his diverse experience as a player and a coach,” said Titans head coach Mike Munchak. “He has worked with some really good coordinators from a variety of backgrounds. He is a detailed guy who has had a lot of success as a coach and a player.
