Austin Peay Lady Govs Soccer’s Tatiana Ariza scores twice in 4-1 win over Chattanooga

Austin Peay State University Lady GovsClarksville, TNAustin Peay State University women’s soccer team ran roughshod over visiting Chattanooga, Sunday, at Morgan Brothers Field. Two goals from junior Tatiana Ariza, including the game-winner, led the Lady Govs to a 4-1 victory against the Mocs.

“It was a great game for us,” said head coach Kelley Guth. “We put the pieces of the puzzle together today. We talked after our loss Friday about executing better and they really did it today.”

APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Soccer

Austin Peay State University Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Eleven home games dot the Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team’s impressive 19-game schedule released Monday by head coach Kelley Guth.

The Lady Govs will open the 2012 schedule with a three-game road trip, beginning with an August 8th exhibition contest at Evansville. Austin Peay will open the regular-season with road contests against Arkansas and UALR, August 17th and 19th, respectively.

Austin Peay’s Sean Bailey earns Ohio Valley Conference Male Athlete of the Week

Austin Peay State UniversitySean BaileyClarksville, TN – Junior Sean Bailey, of the Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team, was named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Male Athlete of the Week, the league office announced, Wednesday.
