This is the second time the two clubs have met in Week 1 and the first occasion since 1975, when the then-Oilers began their season with a 7-0 victory over New England, one of 15 shutouts in franchise history.

Last week, they hosted the now-first-place Houston Texans (4-3) but were unable to keep up in a 41-7 defeat. With their win, the Texans took sole possession of first place in the division. The Jaguars (1-5 entering Monday night’s game vs. Baltimore) and Colts are in third and fourth place, respectively. The Titans will be playing their 100th regular season game at LP Field this week.
