Fort Campbell’s Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center April Activities

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Join Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center (D.W. Rec) for some great April activities!  They start the month off with a Dinner and a Play Production on April 5th and 6th. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm and the play will begin at 7:00pm.

Featured will be two hilarious one-act plays by Peter Tolan, “Stay Carl Stay” and “Pillow Talk”.  Your meal will be catered by Chef Bob at Sportsman’s Lodge and will consist of schnitzel, coleslaw and potato salad. Hike, Bike, Climb and Canoe with Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Recreation in March

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Join Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs for some of the great activities they have planned for March. They’ll start the month off with a Kings Bluff Climbing Trip on March 2nd from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Everyone age 12 and up is invited to participate.

Kings Bluff is a scenic two mile crag located just 15 minutes from post. The cost is $35.00 and includes transportation and equipment.  Please bring appropriate clothing, water, snacks, and a packed lunch. Fort Campbell Fitness Challenge kicks off with Health Fair, Fun Run/Walk

ECFT events will continue at Fort Campbell and the surrounding communities through November.

Patient Recognition Month

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) dietician and local massage school students offered 54 patients and staff an opportunity to learn more about the valuable health benefits of activity, nutrition, sleep and relaxation February 8th during Patient Recognition Month as they participated in a Wellness class and received free 10-minute massages.

BACH Dietician Capt. Christina Deehl told patients to avoid “fad” diets and to be careful about taking supplements.
