Stewart Hired As New F&M Mortgage Lender

F&M BankF&M Bank has announced the addition of Yolanda Stewart as a mortgage lender, working in the bank’s St. Bethlehem office at 2601 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Stewart has been a mortgage lender since 2001, following an extensive military career that culminated at Ft. Campbell.  In addition to her F&M lending responsibilities, Stewart continues military service as an Army Reserve officer and assistant professor in the Military Science Department at Austin Peay State University where she trains future officers enrolled in the school’s ROTC program. «Read the rest of this article»

Shooting spree damages dozens of vehicles

Shootings concentrated in St. Bethlehem area

flashing-police-lightsOver the past several weeks, windows have been shot out of 60-70 vehicles in Clarksville, primarily in but not limited to the St. Bethlehem area, according to Public Information Officer Jim Knoll.

The total dollar value of the damage is between $20,000 and $30,000, based on window replacement costs of between $300 and $500. «Read the rest of this article»

Robbers target female shoppers in St. B

co-suspect-car.JPGShoppers in the St. Bethlehem area are being urged to use caution in the wake of a series of attempted robberies involving shoppers returning to their cars.

Detective Michael Patterson is presently investigating three robberies that have occurred in the St. Bethlehem area. All three robbery attempts involved women who were alone at the time of the incidents. The suspect’s car (shown at left) was caught on security camera and released by police.

On Friday, December 7, 2007, in the parking lot of Kohl’s, 2840 Wilma Rudolph Blvd, a female that was at her vehicle was approached by a black male, wearing a thick nylon jacket, with fur around the neck area.
