Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (7-9) beat the Houston Texans (2-14) 16-10 Sunday at LP Field. Down by six with 1:06 remaining, Houston had the ball on their own 9 yard line. On the first play of the drive, Matt Schaub’s pass to wide receiver Keshawn Martin is intercepted by Titan’s safety Michael Griffin at the Houston 39 yard line sealing the win for Tennessee.
Houston started the game by taking their opening drive 63 yards for a touchdown. The drive was capped off by 3 yard touchdown run by Jonathan Grimes. It was Grimes’ first NFL touchdown of his career.
Nashville, TN – Down 10 points early in the 3rd quarter, the Tennessee Titans (6-9) come from behind scoring 14 unanswered points to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-11) 20-16 at EverBank Field.
The Titans got the go ahead score when clutch receiver Nate Washington slipped behind the Jaguars defense and hauled in a 30 yard touchdown pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick just 0:29 seconds into the 4th quarter. It was a lead Tennessee would not relinquish.

The Jaguars are the Titans’ longest-standing division rival. In 38 all-time meetings, including playoffs, the Titans hold a 21-17 advantage.

The Titans have not played at Oakland since the 2004 season and have not won at O.co Coliseum since 2001. They have taken the two most recent battles in Tennessee (2007 and 2010), although the Raiders hold a 27-19 overall series lead, including playoffs.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (4-5) announced this afternoon that quarterback Jake Locker will miss the remainder of the season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot.
Locker was injured in the second quarter of the game against Jacksonville Sunday. The injury occurred when Jaguars linebacker Russell Allen hit Locker at the end of a eight yard run. Locker limped off the field after the next play and went to the locker room for x-rays.

Nashville, TN – Chris Johnson broke lose for 150 yards on 23 carries to propel the Tennessee Titans to a 28-21 victory over the St. Louis Rams. Johnson also had 2 touchdown runs on the day including a 19 yard scamper late in the fourth quarter that sealed the win for the Titans.
“CJ is a special runner, and we think we have a good offensive line, but we just weren’t having results. To watch it finally come together, I didn’t think it was going to take this long, but I am glad it happened. He had a game like we thought he could have, I thought he ran very well,” stated Titans head coach Mike Munchak.
