Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (1-1) continue their preseason schedule this week with a trip to face the Atlanta Falcons (1-1). Kickoff at the Georgia Dome (capacity 71,228) is scheduled for 7:00pm EDT/6:00pm CDT on Saturday, August 23rd.
The trip to Atlanta could be the last chance for some to make a lasting impression. By 3:00pm CDT on August 26th, the roster must be trimmed from a maximum of 90 players to 75. The final cut to 53 players occurs on August 30th.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (1-0) continue their preseason schedule this week with a trip to face the New Orleans Saints (1-0). Kickoff at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome (capacity 73,000) is scheduled for 7:00pm CDT on Friday, August 15th.
The game will be televised regionally on the Titans Preseason TV Network, including flagship WKRN-Channel 2 in Nashville. Cory Curtis will handle play-by-play duties while former Titans running back Eddie George provides analysis. Audra Martin will report from the sidelines.
Nashville, TN – On the field, the Tennessee Titans were optimistic about their fortunes in 2013 after a 3-1 start, which included a 16-9 victory in the opener at the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans became the first opponent to win in the Steelers’ home opener since 2002.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (7-9) beat the Houston Texans (2-14) 16-10 Sunday at LP Field. Down by six with 1:06 remaining, Houston had the ball on their own 9 yard line. On the first play of the drive, Matt Schaub’s pass to wide receiver Keshawn Martin is intercepted by Titan’s safety Michael Griffin at the Houston 39 yard line sealing the win for Tennessee.
Houston started the game by taking their opening drive 63 yards for a touchdown. The drive was capped off by 3 yard touchdown run by Jonathan Grimes. It was Grimes’ first NFL touchdown of his career.
Nashville, TN – Down 10 points early in the 3rd quarter, the Tennessee Titans (6-9) come from behind scoring 14 unanswered points to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-11) 20-16 at EverBank Field.
The Titans got the go ahead score when clutch receiver Nate Washington slipped behind the Jaguars defense and hauled in a 30 yard touchdown pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick just 0:29 seconds into the 4th quarter. It was a lead Tennessee would not relinquish.

Nashville, TN – This week the Tennessee Titans (5-9) play their final road game of 2013, traveling to face the AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars (4-10). Kickoff at EverBank Field (capacity 67,246) is scheduled for 1:00pm EST/noon CST on Sunday, December 22nd.
The Jaguars are the Titans’ longest-standing division rival. In 38 all-time meetings, including playoffs, the Titans hold a 21-17 advantage.

The Titans have not played at Oakland since the 2004 season and have not won at O.co Coliseum since 2001. They have taken the two most recent battles in Tennessee (2007 and 2010), although the Raiders hold a 27-19 overall series lead, including playoffs.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (4-5) announced this afternoon that quarterback Jake Locker will miss the remainder of the season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot.
Locker was injured in the second quarter of the game against Jacksonville Sunday. The injury occurred when Jaguars linebacker Russell Allen hit Locker at the end of a eight yard run. Locker limped off the field after the next play and went to the locker room for x-rays.
