Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators will square off against the Washington Capitals in the nation’s capital for the first time since December 20th, 2011, Saturday night at 6:00pm CT, at the Verizon Center.
In that last meeting, the Capitals scored two goals in the first period and a pair in the third to bookend the lone Nashville goal of the night. These teams have met six times since the start of the 2008-09 season, with the Caps winning four of the six games. The Predators are an even 6-6-4 in 17 all-time meetings with the Capitals.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators met the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center ice just a month ago on October 4th, as the Avs downed the Preds, 3-1.
Colorado took an early 2-0 lead on goals from P.A. Parenteau and Patrick Bordeleau, but the Preds cut the margin in half when Paul Gaustad tallied at 14:10 of the second period. The Preds kept the pressure on late in the game, but Parenteau’s empty-netter with 1:12 remaining secured the victory for the Avs.

This is Bridgestone Arena’s third consecutive U.S. Top 10 ranking, up two spots from Pollstar’s Mid-year rankings.

Los Angeles, CA – The Nashville Predators are seeking a win as their West Coast swing continues, with a visit to the defending Stanley Cup Champions Los Angeles Kings on Monday night.
The two teams wrap up their three-game 2012-13 regular season series at the Staples Center with the Predators in search of a season sweep after earning a 2-1 shootout victory on January 31st in Southern California and a 3-0 win at Bridgestone Arena on February 7th. The Kings are the only Western Conference team that the Predators have a winning record against on the road (14-10-3), but a losing record against at home (10-14-3).

San Jose, CA – The Nashville Predators get out shot 39-19 in 2-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks Saturday night at the HP Pavilion. San Jose, who had been struggling with power-plays of late, scored both goals with the man advantage. This was the Sharks first win over the Predators this season.
The Predators have now lost two in a row having lost Wednesday night to the Anaheim Ducks 5-1. Nashville ranks last in goals with just 2.05 per game.
Clarksville, TN – The Nashville Predators are in desperate need of a win, and it doesn’t get any easier when they face the defending Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, Thursday night, January 31st at the Stables Center. The puck hits ice at 9:30pm.
