Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that from now through Wednesday September 30th, from 8:00am-6:00pm (excluding weekends), there will be lane closures on Highway 13 (SR 13), from McWhorter Road to east of Budds Creek Road in the Cunningham community, in order for Montgomery County Gas Authority to install 6” steel gas main.
Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) releases update on Rossview Road Construction project in Clarksville
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has issued an update on the construction project currently underway at I-24 and SR 237 (Rossview Road) in Clarksville-Montgomery County.
As Phase I continues to progress, the new bridges are beginning to take shape.

Nashville, TN – Since December 2014, great progress has been made, including efforts to relocate existing water, sewer, gas, electric and communication lines, which must be moved to make way for new construction.
This work is expected to continue for the next few months. Once the lines are relocated, widening of the roadway will begin.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports from Friday, January 22nd until Wednesday, January 28th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be grading, drainage and paving on US 41A (SR 112) from McAdoo Creek Road to East of SR 76.
There will be alternating lane closures on US 41A near Sango Road for conduit installation.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water utility line locators have been working diligently to locate and mark underground utility lines along Madison Street, including several side streets, from Richview Road to just east of McAdoo Creek Road for upcoming utility line relocation work.
Tennessee Department of Transportation issues contract to widen U.S. Highway 41 in Montgomery County
Nashville, TN – Tennessee State Representative Curtis Johnson (R-Clarksville) announced that the Tennessee Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to Highways, Inc. for $23,688,830.25 for the purpose of widening U. S. Highway 41 from McAdoo Creek Road to east of State Route 76.
It will take up to one year for the utility work, such as moving utility poles and communication lines, etc, to be completed before the construction work can be started.
Clarksville Police, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to conduct Roadside Safety Checkpoints and Saturation Patrol
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on January 31st, February 1st, and February 2nd, 2014 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.
The locations of the checkpoints will be on U.S. 79 and Kraft Street. Saturation Patrols will be on U.S. 41-A and U.S. 79 and Tennessee State Routes 374, 12, 13, 48, 76 and 236.
Clarksville, TN – This morning, Friday December 27th, 2013 at 7:14am, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a call that a pedestrian had been hit by a tractor trailer.
The tractor trailer was heading northeast on State Route 76 (towards I24). The tractor trailer hit the male pedestrian between Fire Station Road and Huntco Drive. The male subject died, due to his injuries from this incident.
Details will be released after the investigating CPD Officers have more information.
