Clarksville Police Department Increased Traffic Enforcement Statistics from July 19th

Clarksville, TN – On July 19th, 2012, the Clarksville Police Department stepped up traffic enforcement on Fort Campbell Boulevard from North Second Street to Stateline Road due to the increase in crashes occurring on the roadway. Police made 122 vehicle stops.
Since January 1st, 2012 there have been 322 crashes on Fort Campbell Boulevard, 106 of those were injury crashes, 160 were rear-end collision, and 100 were angle crashes.

Clarksville Police to Increase Traffic Enforcement along Fort Campbell Boulevard

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is stepping up traffic enforcement on Fort Campbell Boulevard from North Second Street to Stateline Road due to the increase in crashes occurring on the roadway.
On July 19th, 2012 the traffic unit and patrol will dedicate officers for strictly enforcing all traffic laws with a focus on reducing crashes and saving lives. Since January 1st, 2012, there have been over 320 crashes on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband plans to read meter routes on Saturday, January 7th between 8:00am and 3:00pm. This is to help keep monthly billing cycles as close to 30 days as possible.
Routes to read include the following areas: Burch road, Batts Lane, Britton Springs, Fort Campbell Boulevard (even side), Wallace Glen Apartments, Notgrass Road, Stateline Road, and Belleglade Trailer Park.

U.S. Bank and Walmart Robbery Suspects in Custody

Clarksville, TN – On August 9th, 2011, cooperation from multiple law enforcement agencies and the quick thinking and bravery of a Fort Campbell soldier resulted in the arrest of men involved in the robbery of a bank and pharmacy.
On August 9th, 2011, around 12:45pm, a man walked into the U.S. Bank, 3301 Fort Campbell Boulvard, told the teller that he had a bomb in a backpack and demanded money. He was given money, fled on foot, and ran toward the back side of the bank. But, he was unaware that a 20 year old Fort Campbell soldier was in hot pursuit after him.
 U.S. Bank on Fort Campbell Boulvard was robbed Tuesday, August 9th around 12:40pm. Suspect was caught due to the quick actions of a Fort Campbell Soldier.
