APSU Lady Govs Softball wins 4-1 against Southeast Missouri to take OVC series
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s softball team scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning, to break a 1-1 deadlock with Southeast Missouri and come away with a sweep of their Ohio Valley Conference series, winning the finale 4-1.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay’s softball team hosted more than 20 area youth at Sunday’s free postgame skills clinic.
The Lady Govs led participants through a variety of skill stations including infield and outfield technique, base-running and hitting.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University softball team has added pitcher Allie Blackwood during the fall signing period.
Blackwood was 11-7 for her Dalton (GA) High School squad last season, with a 1.75 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 115 innings pitched. She also hit .443 with 23 RBI as a third baseman, earning all-region honors for the second consecutive season.

Austin Peay names Stephanie Paris new Softball Coach

Clarksville, TN – A former Ohio Valley Conference standout has been named Austin Peay State University’s new softball coach.
Stephanie Paris, who was a star second baseman for UT Martin in the early 2000s before becoming a successful high school and college coach, has been hired as Austin Peay’s seventh head coach. She replaces Casey Dickson, whose contract was not renewed in the spring after four seasons.
