Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites citizens to take part, as waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities across the world attempt to break the Guinness World Record of the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson on Friday, June 20th at Beachaven, New Providence, Swan Lake and Smith pools at 10:00am.

Fort Campbell’s Gardner Pool’s Winter Swim Class Schedule

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Swimming is a great way to stay active during the winter months.  Gardner Swimming Pool will be offering classes for all ages.

Adult Class will start on January 5th and run through February 23rd, meeting on Saturdays only. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday from January 14 through January 30th they will be holding Preschool class from 4:00pm until 4:45pm and Level 1 class from 5:00pm until 5:45pm. Indoor Aquatic Center offers Adaptive Swim Lessons for special needs patrons

 

Indoor Aquatic Center - New ProvidenceClarksville, TN – Registration is underway for the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department’s very first Adaptive Swimming course at the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.  The opening session begins January 2nd.

Adaptive Swim Lessons is a program designed to teach swim skills, increase swimmer’s knowledge of safety around the water, maintain and increase physical fitness, achieve success, and receive recognition within an aquatic environment.  This program is for children ages 5 – 18 with mental or physical disabilities. «Read the rest of this article»
