APSU Sports: Austin Peay Men’s Tennis
Clarksville, TN – A 14-match winning streak came to an end for Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team, Saturday. The Govs dropped a 5-2 decision to Tennessee Tech at the Austin Peay Tennis Courts.

APSU Governors Tennis host Tennessee Tech, Jacksonville State this Weekend
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team closes out its regular season with two important weekend matches at the Austin Peay Tennis Courts.
The Govs battle Tennessee Tech, 1:00pm, Saturday, with the conference title on the line and conclude the season with a 2:00pm, Sunday tilt against Jacksonville State.

Austin Peay Men’s Tennis ranked second in OVC Preseason poll
Brentwood, TN – Senior Sean Bailey was voted the league’s top player and Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team was picked to finish second in the Ohio Valley Conference Preseason Poll, released Friday by the conference office.
Bailey, a three-time All-OVC player, was joined in the league’s Top Ten Player Rankings, as voted by the league’s head coaches, by two teammates – junior Jasmin Ademovic (third) and sophomore Dimitar Ristovski (sixth).

Austin Peay Governors Tennis’ Sean Bailey advances to semifinals at Louisville Invitational
APSU Sports: Austin Peay Men’s Tennis
Louisville, KY – Senior Sean Bailey advanced to the semifinals of Flight A in the Gov’s season- opener at this weekend’s Louisville Fall Invitational.
Bailey defeated Kentucky’s Beck Pennington in the opening round (2-6, 6-3, 6-3) and Tennessee Tech’s Syrym Abdukhalikov (7-6 (4), 3-6, 7-5) to advance to Saturday’s quarterfinal.

Austin Peay Governors Tennis travels Cookeville to face the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in an OVC Showdown

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team returns to Ohio Valley Conference play with a noon, Thursday match at Tennessee Tech.
The Govs will look to build on the momentum gained at the Sun Belt Shootout, where they went 1-3, losing to Middle Tennessee and Troy, but closing with a win against Southern Illinois. It was a match where the Govs showed depth with wins at No. 4 singles from Aleksas Tverijonas and at No. 6 from Michal Hriciste.
