Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam today proclaimed April 15th-19th, 2013 Work Zone Awareness Week in Tennessee, joining states across the nation in highlighting the complexities of work zones and reminding motorists to drive safely in construction areas.

Nashville, TN – Starting Monday April 1st through Wednesday April 3rd, from 8:00pm-6:00am, the Tennessee Department of Transportation will be doing resurfacing and bridge deck repair on Interstate 24 from State Route 76 to the Robertson County Line.

Tennessee Department of Transporation halts Interstate Construction for Easter Travel Holiday
Motorists Urged to Obey Work Zone Speed Limits Despite Suspension of Construction
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will suspend all interstate construction work this Easter weekend in anticipation of increased holiday travel.
TDOT crews and contractors will stop all road construction work that requires lane closures beginning Thursday, March 28th at 6:00pm through Monday, April 1st at 6:00am. TDOT Reports I-40 West in Nashville to Close Next Weekend for Bridge Repair
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will close a short section of Interstate 40 Westbound at the I-40/I-24 split just east of downtown Nashville the first weekend in January in order to make repairs to a bridge damaged when it was struck by an oversized vehicle.
