Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team brings the 2016-17 season to a close with a trip to Southeast Missouri for a 4:15pm tipoff, Saturday, in the Show Me Center.
The Govs are hoping to spoil Southeast Missouri’s home finale, Saturday. The Govs seek their second straight win in the Show Me Center and want to send out seniors Kenny Jones, John Murry and Assane Diop on a high note.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball begins its final regular season road trip of 2016-17 with a trip to UT Martin for a 7:00pm, Thursday, tipoff in the Elam Center.
Wins are paramount for the Govs at this stage in the season, with Austin Peay needing wins and some help to enter the OVC Tournament field.

Knoxville, TN – In a matchup of two teams separated by a single spot in the RPI top 50 and situated firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble, Tennessee plays host to in-state foe Vanderbilt on Wednesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is slated for 5:30pm CT on SEC Network.
Both the Vols (15-12, 7-7 SEC) and Commodores (14-13, 7-7 SEC) enter the regular season’s penultimate week coming off of wins. UT snapped a two-game skid on Saturday, picking up a 90-70 win over Missouri behind 25 points from freshman Grant Williams and 21 points from senior Robert Hubbs III. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt grabbed a 71-62 victory over then-No. 21 South Carolina in Nashville.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team will host SIU Edwardsville with a lot on the line in a 6:30pm, Saturday, tipoff in the Dunn Center.
At 5-8 in league play, wins are paramount for the Governors, who face a winless Cougar squad in the regular season home finale. Tennessee Tech, Southeast Missouri and Tennessee State currently stand as the sixth, seventh and eighth seeds for the OVC Tournament, each with seven wins entering the weekend.

Brentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s golf was picked to finish sixth in the Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll, with their counterparts on the men’s side slated ninth in a vote of league coaches.
That was announced by the OVC ahead of the start of regular season competition, with the APSU men’s team set to get underway this weekend at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor, hosted by William and Mary in Savannah, GA.
While replacing Jessica Cathey hasn’t been easy for Sara Robson‘s squad, the women’s golf team saw Taylor Goodley and Ashton Goodley develop into a dynamic one-two punch at the top of the Austin Peay lineup, with Taylor earning OVC Golfer of the Week after leading the Govs to runner-up honors at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, October 11th.

Murray, KY – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team targets a season sweep over rival Murray State, 5:00pm, Saturday, in the Battle of the Border rematch at the CFSB Center.
The Govs (12-12, 6-5 OVC) are currently fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference standings, and most recently earned a 79-63 win over Tennessee State last Saturday.

Brentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball senior center Tearra Banks picks up her third adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week award after a record-tying performance over the weekend.
In Saturday’s 79-63 victory over Tennessee State, Banks made all 11 of her shots from the field to finish at 100 percent, tying the APSU single-game record set by Gerlonda Hardin in 2002, who also went 11-for-11.

During his Austin Peay career, Hassell earned every honor imaginable.
