Robertson County Players to present Annie Get Your Gun in Springfield, TN
Springfield, TN- In conjunction with the 100th Anniversary of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show’s 1912 appearance in Nashville, The Robertson County Players present Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun.” The show features a cast of over 60 actors, singers and dancers plus a full orchestra, this is an event that shouldn’t be missed. It’s not often you’ll get a chance to see a full-scale musical extravaganza that will rival anything at TPAC or for that matter Broadway itself.
Elaborate backdrops set the stage for this weekend’s show.

World Renowned “Genius” Artist Meredith Monk Coming to APSU
Clarksville, TN – Last week, most major news outlets spent a few minutes highlighting the winners of the 2010 MacArthur Foundation Genius Awards. The recipients were individuals who, according to the Foundation, “have shown extraordinary originality and dedication in their creative pursuits.”
The MacArthur Fellows, as the winners are known, are rewarded with $500,000, which is considered an investment on their future accomplishments. They have gone on to become some of the country’s top artists and creative talents.
