Light festival offers weekend entertainment

Christmas on the Cumberland will feature a live nativity scene and choral performances by Grace Church of the Nazarene on December 7 and 8 at McGregor Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Acro Dance Express, First Missionary Baptist Church, and Christy’s Dance Connection are scheduled to perform December 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Natalie’s Dance Network and the Tri-City Dance and Step Team are scheduled to perform December 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Santa will also visit Christmas on the Cumberland on December 14, 15, 21, and 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Christmas on the Cumberland is open nightly through January 1, 2008. Hours are Sunday-Thursday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission to the city’s festival of holiday lights is free.
