11th Annual “FROLIC ON FRANKLIN: A Celebration of the Arts” to be held this Saturday, September 24th

 

Frolic on FranklinClarksville, TN – Historic Downtown Clarksville is gearing up for the 11th Annual “FROLIC ON FRANKLIN: A Celebration of the Arts” on Saturday, September 24th, from 8:30am to 3:30pm. This free event will showcase the works of more than 30 artists, staged entertainment and art demonstrations — all along the 100 block of historic Franklin Street.

A variety of original fine art, as well as handmade crafts, will be on display including paintings and photography, jewelry, clay garden items, woodwork, purses and scarves, pottery, candles, jewelry, woven and knitted items, and seasonal gifts. Items will be for sale with prices ranging from $2.00 to $500.00.

Clarksville’s Handmade Holidays event draws huge crowd; continues tomorrow

 

Handmade HolidaysClarksville, TN – On Saturday, November 14th, Clarksville Parks and Recreation held their 4th annual Handmade Holidays event from 9:00am until 4:00pm at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park. The event continues tomorrow, Sunday, November 15th, from 12:00pm until 4:00pm.

Handmade Holidays opened to a large crowd of shoppers all looking for that special gift for Christmas as well as decorations for the holidays.

Ornament Turning Demo and Class at Fort Campbell’s Guenette Arts and Crafts

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Join the Tuckessee Woodturners at Guenette Arts & Crafts Center on November 16th for a free demonstration on turning wooden ornaments, then take a class to make your own one-of-a-kind ornament.

5th Annual ‘Frolic on Franklin’ Set for Saturday, September 18th

 

Historic Downtown ClarksvilleDowntown Clarksville’s 5th annual celebration of the arts, “Frolic on Franklin” will take place Saturday, September 18.  Hosted by the Downtown Clarksville Association, the event will showcase the works of some 20 local and regional artists amidst the captivating architecture of the 100 block of historic Franklin Street.

A variety of works will be on display including jewelry, pottery, water color and oil prints, woodwork, ceramics, porcelain, photography and more. Pieces will be for sale with prices ranging from $5.00 – $500.00. First Thursday ArtWalk

 

The First Thursday Artwalk will be held tonight from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Historic Downtown ClarksvilleThe APSU Downtown Gallery will open the appropriately titled, “A Fantastic Show of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture” by Paul Fly and Brad Reagan.  The exhibition will run from September 2nd – October 2nd with an opening reception during the First Thursday ArtWalk.

The Downtown Artist Co-op will begin their  Annual Membership Exhibition.
