Bowl for Kids’ Sake Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – Big Brothers Big Sisters is recruiting teams for their 31st annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. The annual fundraiser has brought the Clarksville community together to raise funds for the non-profit’s mentoring programs for many years. This event is expected to raise $80,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville.

The event kicks off with the Jingle Bell Jog 5K hosted by the City of Clarksville and Run for a Reason. The 5K race will begin at 8:00am, in downtown Clarksville.

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville kicked off the 14th Annual Christmas on the Cumberland last night, which continues until January 1st. The annual free holiday display features over 1,000,000 individual Lights in a amazing Christmas display that spans the entire length of McGregor Park in Downtown Clarksville.
This has become one of the most popular events held on the banks of the Cumberland River in Historic Downtown Clarksville, second only to the Riverfest Celebration held in September. It draws thousands of people per day down to the banks of the Cumberland River to enjoy the Christmas lights with family and friends.

Downtown for the Holidays features Christmas Cookie Bake-Off

Clarksville Tn – As part of Clarksville’s Downtown for the Holidays event, the City of Clarksville and Ingredients have partnered together to host this year’s 4th Annual Christmas Cookie Bake-off.
Bakers of all skill levels are encouraged to bake their favorite holiday treat and submit their entry to Ingredients, located at 100 Strawberry Alley by 4:00pm, December 1st. Entry fee is five samples for judging along with two dozen treats which will be donated to Loaves and Fishes.
