Clarksville, TN – Sophomore setter Cami Fields, of Austin Peay State University volleyball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

Fields recorded a career-high 64 assists in the Lady Govs five-set win against Southeast Missouri, Saturday, along with a career-best four blocks and 14 digs. She’s the first Lady Gov to record more than 60 assists in a match since Sarah Alisaleh’s 62-assist performance at Tennessee Tech, November 3rd, 2007.

Gulf Shores, AL – Freshman Jessica Cathey continued her outstanding fall play by shooting a 2-over 74, Tuesday, to finish fourth at the 2012 UAB Fall Beach Bash, played at the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club.

Gulf Shores, AL – Austin Peay State University women’s golf team will look to take momentum into the off-season when it plays in the UAB Fall Beach Bash, Monday and Tuesday, at the Peninsula and Racquet Club.

The two-day, 36-hole tournament will be played on the 6,050-yard Cypress/Marsh Course at the club.

Austin Peay Lady Govs Golf set for final fall Tournament at Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores, AL – Attempting to bounce back from its fall season’s worst tourney, Austin Peay State University women’s golf team will head to Gulf Shores, AL, to play in the UAB Fall Beach Bash, Monday and Tuesday, at the Peninsula and Racquet Club.

The two-day, 36-hole tournament will be played on the 6,050-yard Marsh and Cypress courses at the club. Eleven teams will compete in the tournament. In addition to the Lady Govs and host UAB, Southern Mississippi, Memphis, Marshall, Belmont,  Tennessee Tech, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Florida and Texas Pan American.
