USAA Military Spouse Appreciation Week at Fort Campbell May 6th-10th, 2013

Fort Campbell, KY – Military Spouses are an invaluable asset to the Army. They support their Soldiers though mission, deployment, reintegration and reset and keep the home fires burning. Throughout history, military Spouses have been the backbone that provides support for the Soldiers and holds the Family together.

The Army recognizes the support and sacrifices made with Military Spouse Appreciation Day on May 10th.  Instead of just one day of appreciation, Fort Campbell’s Family Resource Center (FRC) will host three days worth of activities and events to honor our Spouses. «Read the rest of this article»

Rivers and Spires Festival reaches Crescendo with Jo Dee Messina Concert

Clarksville, TN – The final day of the 2013 Rivers and Spires Festival began with absolutely glorious weather. The sun was shining and the sky was that special shade of blue you get after a spring storm. The crowds started showing up even before the 10:00am official opening time.

Dave Loos, Jr. from WJZM 1400 AM was on hand broadcasting Live from the Bill Roberts Thunder Road Automotive and Marine booth just down from the Roxy Regional Theatre. He spent the morning interviewing festival organizers and some of the sponsors.

Rivers and Spires Festival kicks off Thursday, April 18th

Rivers and Spires is being held April 18th-20th.

Clarksville, TN – This weekend, the place to be is Downtown Clarksville, Tennessee for the 11th annual Rivers and Spires Festival. The Festival begins Thursday, April 18th and runs through Saturday, April 20th.

The streets will be filled with with craft and food vendors, five music stages, kids’ activities and artisan booths. So come out for a great time.

Shake, Rattle and Roll Dueling Pianos at Fort Campbell’s The Zone

Fort Campbell, KY – Shake, Rattle and Roll Dueling Pianos is back to help us celebrate the Army Birthday! Come to The Zone on June 14th for some great sing-along, clap-along entertainment.

Fort Campbell, KY – Mark your calendars for this special Father & Son Bowling Party. This event will be held at Hooper Bowling Center on April 27th.

Fort Campbell’s Child Youth and School Services Celebrates Month of the Military Child

Fort Campbell, KY – Every April, military installations around the globe celebrate Month of the Military Child. Fort Campbell is among them and for 2013, Child Youth and School Services (CYSS) has fun events planned for children and Families throughout the month.

They will kick off the month with their Annual Parade on April 1st at 9:30am. Children from several of Fort Campbell’s child development centers will meet at the parking lot in from of CDC #2, located at 3071 Bastogne Avenue, and participate in a parade around the parking area. Fort Campbell, KY – When beauty, music and fashion own the runway! Join USAA and Family and MWR for the most anticipated fashion event of the year for Mothers and Daughters. The Fashion Show for Mother & Daughter will be held at the Family Resource Center on April 6th beginning at 6:00pm.

Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union and MWR Host a Father and Daughter Dance

Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union and MWR will be hosting a Father/Daughter Dance at Cole Park Commons on April 13th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

The suggested dress is semi-formal, so mark your calendar and start thinking about the perfect dress for your little girl. You are welcome to wear your dress uniform or tuxedo to compliment your daughter’s party dress.
