Clarksville Police capture last Hopkinsville Robbery Suspect after he commits Afternoon Robbery

Clarksville, TN – A man who has been on the run, with warrants on file from Clarksville Tennessee and Hopkinsville Kentucky was taken into custody after committing an Aggravated Robbery this afternoon at a Clarksville apartment.

Justin Ladarious Horstead had warrants of file from Clarksville for Criminal Court Capias for Robbery, Violation of community Corrections, and a Hopkinsville warrant for Robbery 1st Degree. Another Aggravated Robbery charge was added to the list this afternoon.

Man Arrested after Police Locate a Marijuana Grow

Clarksville, TN – On October 17th, 2011, around 1:00pm, an investigation into a male fleeing on foot from a routine traffic stop led officers to a marijuana grow in a trailer.

After the man bailed out of a vehicle from an attempted traffic stop, Officers Todd Bell, Ronnie Brown, Peter Millan, Sgt. Joe Difiore, and Detective Brian Tenry attempted to locate the man that fled on foot from the traffic stop.

Man on Community Corrections Arrested Again, Owen Wilson Childs

On August 15th, 2010, officers responded to a Kraft Street hotel in reference to an anonymous caller that had locked them self in a bathroom. They told 911 there were 10 gang members in the room and several of them were armed, drug activity was going on, and no one was being allowed to leave. The caller also indicated that Owen Childs was in the room. 

A warrant check indicated that Childs had several warrants on file. The officers located the room which the caller described and spoke to a woman that said there was no one else in the room.  When officers were allowed inside, they found a male hiding in the bathroom.  Initially, the male gave officers a false name, but officers were quickly able to discover the man’s real name—Owen Wilson Childs. When officers approached Childs, he knocked over one of the officers and fled from the room.
