Clarksville Police DUI Arrests for February 25th-March 4th, 2013

Clarksville, TN – In an effort to bring more attention to drivers that drink and drive, the Clarksville Police Department is consolidating and publishing the circumstances which lead to the DUI arrest. They are arrests, not convictions.
Police made 14 DUI arrests from February 25th thru March 4th, 2013. The blood alcohol content levels ranged from .121-.201. Two of the DUIs were repeat offenders who had been previously charged. Five of those charged involved accidents.
 Nathan Breeden, Nicholas Taylor, Victor Galloway, William Perry, Eric Barnes, Andre Higgins, Kelsey Hedges, Jeffrey Harvey, Theodore Hay, Jace Smith, Aaron Mauk, Richard Gilbreath, Dashawn Nicholson, and Peter Olson were arrested for DUI.

Clarksville Police need assistance locating career criminal Ray Anthony Farmer

Clarksville, TN – Career criminal, Ray Anthony Farmer continues on his crime spree and has expanded beyond the boundaries of the Clarksville-Montgomery county area.
He has amassed at least 28 warrants on file out of Clarksville/Montgomery County, Cadiz, KY, Guthrie, KY, and Davidson County since leaving a halfway house and being spotted in Clarksville in September 2012.
The majority of the warrants are felonies.

Clarksville Police arrest Man out on Probation for Burglary for Vehicle Burglary

A man placed on probation for burglary in November 2012 has been arrested for Burglary again.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have been investigating a vehicle burglary which occurred, January 12th, 2012, between 8:30pm-9:00pm on the parking lot of a business at the 600 block of Riverside Drive.
The owner of the vehicle had parked his 2000 Chevy pickup on the lot and went in the business. When he came out a short time later, someone had entered the unlocked vehicle and took items out of the truck worth over $700.00.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are, once again, on the hunt for Ray Anthony Farmer (W/M, DOB: 8/16/56). He is a career criminal that has plagued the city of Clarksville and has physically fought officers for many years.
He was released from the Tennessee Department of Corrections to a halfway house in July 2012 after serving approximately 5 ½ years for Burglary. At some point, Ray Farmer, left the halfway house prior to completion of his time and ended up back in Clarksville.

Clarksville Police arrested Men for breaking into a 70 year old Man’s House

Men used Craigslist as a Means to Find a Residence to Burglarize
Clarksville, TN – On August 18th, 2012, around 8:00pm, Clarksville Police Officer Ronnie Brown responded to a residential burglary at 8 Gino Drive. Rosario Garcia, 70 left his residence on August 18th, around 4:00pm and returned around 8:00pm.
When he arrived home, he found that his residence had been broken into and approximately $10,000 worth of property had been removed from his house. It appears as though entry had been made through a window.

Clarksville Police charge Man on Three Years Probation with Three Vehicle Burglaries

Clarksville, TN – On August 20th, 2012, around 6:30am, Clarksville Police were called to the Bennett Drive area after a witness saw a man entering two of the neighbor’s vehicles. The man left the vehicles and headed toward the Stephanie Drive area.
The witness provided responding officers a good description of the suspicious person.

Clarksville, TN – Once again, Michael Wayne Birdwell has proven to be consistent in his willingness to commit crime. Birdwell was released from jail, July 3rd, 2012, around 10:45am on his own recognizance after serving 18 days for a Violation of Probation.
He didn’t waste any time before he had another encounter with law enforcement. On July 4th, 2012, shortly after midnight, Clarksville Police were called to 106 North 2nd Street in reference to a Burglary of a business.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for James Derrick Cook (W/M, DOB: 6/29/88, Given Address: Clarksville, TN) who was on probation until 2022 for six burglaries and two thefts.
He had been furloughed from the jail in December 2011 to seek medical treatment, but failed to satisfactorily complete the program and did not return to the jail, as instructed by a court order, so an Escape warrant was taken out on June 11th, 2012.
