Clarksville Police arrest One of Two Brothers involved in Shooting Partygoers

Clarksville, TN – On February 10th, 2013, around 12:30am, Clarksville Police received a tip that Martavious Demond Briggs was in a club at 202 Walker Street. When Police arrived, they found Martavious Briggs inside the club and took him in custody without incident.

Martavious Briggs was wanted by Clarksville Police in connection with a case where shots were fired at a party at 135 Westfield Court January 31st, around 10:30pm. Two people had received gun shot wounds in the incident.

Clarksville Police are looking for Two Brothers involved in Shooting Partygoers

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers responded to reports of shots fired at 135 Westfield Court January 31st, around 10:30pm. A party had been going on at apartment 106 when two men entered and shots were fired. Two people had received gun shot wounds.

Police have taken out warrants and looking for brothers involved in the shooting of partygoers at 135 Westfield Court.

Two People injured during Party Shooting released from Hospital according to Clarksville Police

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a shooting during a party at 135 Westfield Court, apartment 106, on January 31st, 2013, around 10:30pm.

Clarksville Police report Two People Shot when Men walk into Party and start shooting

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are still sorting through different accounts of the sequence of events which occurred at 135 Westfield Court, apartment 106, on January 31st, 2013, around 10:30pm.

Officers responded to several reports of shots fired at 135 Westfield Court. When officers arrived they found a chaotic scene with multiple victims/witnesses in and outside of apartment 106. Officers found one man inside of apartment 106 with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces another road closure and water outage

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed approximately 500 feet of the outer westbound lane of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to traffic from Westfield Court to Fair Brook Place.  Construction crews are working to locate and repair a water main leak on this section of Wilma Rudolph and anticipate work to be complete and the road reopened by approximately 5:00pm. «Read the rest of this article»

Kennedy Lane Water Outage

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews have turned off water service on Kennedy Lane to repair a water main leak. Repair work is expected to be complete by approximately 2:00pm.

The water outage includes Kennedy Lane, Westfield Court and a section of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Good Old Fashioned Police Work, Media and Citizen Assistance Puts Bank Robber Behind Bars

Clarksville, TN – Good old fashioned Police work, media coverage, and citizen tips were instrumental in quickly putting a bank robber behind bars.

Shortly after the bank robbery took place, Detective Ulrey was inside of a business and showed the clerk photos from the bank robbery. The clerk told Detective Ulrey the man looked like someone she knew. Detective Ulrey along with fellow Detectives Nick Newman, Vince Duke, and Sgt Scott Cutler took that information and ran with it.
