The Homeplace, Woodlands Nature Station, and North and South Welcome Stations open their doors March 1st, along with Energy Lake, Hillman Ferry and Piney Campgrounds. Golden Pond, KY – Monday, January 21st, Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area will be waiving fees at participating day-use facilities in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. General admission to the Elk and Bison Prairie will be free and Wranglers Campground will also be waiving day-use riding fees.

Golden Pond, KY – The Golden Pond Visitor Center at Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area will be open from 9:00am-3:00pm on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24th, and remain closed on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th.

Land Between the Lakes Begins 2013 Seasonal Camping Program Process

Golden Pond, KY – Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area is now accepting applications for the 2013 seasonal camping program.
There are a total of 113 campsites in the seasonal camping program available for two to nine months at Hillman Ferry, Piney, and Wranglers campgrounds. Bring the family to enjoy rodeo events, children’s activities, and festival foods. Wranglers Campground is located 5 miles south of Golden Pond Visitor Center.
