Clarksville Street Department to offer Yard Debris Pickup beginning March 21st, 2016

 

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department is offering to pick up yard debris, leaves and limbs. The service will begin March 21st, 2016 and continue through April 18th, 2016.

Yard debris, such as leaves, must be collected and placed in biodegradable paper bags and placed near the street (but not in the street) for collection.

November 1st – November 30th, 2012

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department will pick up your yard debris if it is in paper yard bags and if your branches/limbs are less than 3 feet long. All of your yard debris needs to be stacked in your yard close to the street.

Road closing and clean up

 

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department has closed Ashbury Road from Shannon Street to Shawnee Terrace because of high water. Also Shawnee Terrace is closed from Saratoga Road to Ashbury Road.

Street Department Director David Shepard said the street flooding is caused by a nearby sinkhole that fills with water during heavy rains. The closure is expected to continue overnight. «Read the rest of this article»
