Elementary school students can design a logo for the county science fair

 

The Montgomery County School System is currently holding a “Design a Logo for our Science Fair Art Contest” at the local elementary schools. All local elementary school students can compete, and everyone should. The overall prize for which is $100.00 from Rosalind Kurtia. She has been sponsoring this event for many years. The winning design will become the logo for this year’s science fair and will be used on the T-shirts donated by CDE that are given to the participants of the County science fair. The deadline for entries is Monday!

The design should be submitted according to the following guidelines:

  1. On a sheet of paper no larger than 8 1/2 x 11
  2. Only one color
  3. Bold without a lot of detail
  4. Print ready
  5. Depict an illustration relative to the fields of science (biology, chemistry, physics) Clarksville-Montgomery County Science Fair 2010
  6. Appropriate for display on a t-shirt.
  7. Identified on the reverse side with the full name and school of the participant.
  8. All entries must be turned in to Brenda L. Gray at NEHS by February 1, 2010.  Entries will not be returned!

In the event that no entries are deemed appropriate by the judges, this contest will be null and void.

The county science fair will be held on April 15th and 16th.
