Water service will be disrupted in the Greenwood Avenue area and along Seven Mile Ferry Road beginning Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. until approximately 4:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Gas and Water construction workers will replace two sixteen-inch water valves on both roads. Residents in these areas who are not affected by the water outage may experience low water pressure during the valve work.
The following streets will be affected by the water outage.
- Greenwood Avenue from Crossland Avenue to Woodmont Boulevard
- Woodmont Boulevard
- Gracey Avenue
- Seven Mile Ferry Road from Greenwood Avenue to Pumping Station Road
Greenwood Avenue will be closed to traffic from Woodmont Boulevard to Kleeman Drive. Motorist will be detoured from Greenwood to Daniel Street and Kleeman Drive.
