2010 Political Forums available on Local Networks

Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceThe Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Clarksville recently held political forums for the upcoming August elections. The forums were recorded at Austin Peay State University’s Music and Mass Communication Building. Beginning Monday, June 21st, 2010 they will be televised on local networks and run until election day Thursday, August 5th, 2010.

CDE Lightband and Charter Communications customers will be able to view the political forums on Channels 9 and 99 respectively. Both providers will air the forums at the following times:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 9:00pm
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays at 2:00pm

Viewers should keep in mind the political forums may not be listed in the channel guide. To view the debates any time visit www.clarksvillechamber.com and click on News.

Candidates involved with the following political races were invited to participate in the forums: Montgomery County Mayor, Montgomery County Commission, County Sheriff, General Sessions and Judicial positions. Due to schedule conflicts only certain forums were able to be recorded and will air on television.
