Hooters has returned to Two Rivers Mall

HootersIt’s been 16 weeks since the May 2010 flooding that ravaged the Riverside Drive area, many businesses have already re-opened their doors, while others are still in the reconstruction process.

RC Moore Construction handled the remodeling, and General Manager Alan Amell was rightfully proud of his newly rebuilt restaurant, “There are a lot of changes, really cool changes. The overall concept is the same, but with the new interior everything looks very fresh” he said. He highlighted the new entryway which he said “gives the Riverside Drive Hooters more of the feel of an island bar”. The Patio was also roofed and Alan sees a lot of use for that once the intense summer heat breaks.

Alan mentioned the rumors about the Restaurant which have been running rampant since they were closed by the rising flood waters. “Don’t believe the rumors, We are right here where we have always been.”

Be on the look out for new and exciting events at Hooters starting sometime in September.
