Three Car Crash Sends One to Hospital

On August 10th, 2010, around 2:30pm, there was a three vehicle collision on the 76 Connector. 

A Honda Civic traveling southbound on the 76 Connector, driven by Katie Rosson 29, made a left turn and crossed in front of an oncoming Northbound Dodge Intrepid, driven by Cory Buie 23.

The Intrepid collided with the passenger side of the Civic; the impact caused the Civic to leave the main road and come to rest in a ditch.  At the same time, the Intrepid was spun around and collided with a Nissan Titan, driven by Lora Jones, waiting on a side road to enter the 76 Connector.
 
Katie Rosson was transported to Gateway for her injuries (extent unknown). Cory Buie was treated at the scene for a hand and arm injury and had some leg pain.  Lora Jones did not require treatment at the scene.
 
The lead investigator is Officer Alan Altman. Charges are pending.
