Fort Campbell, KY – A 101st Airborne Division Soldier died September 16th, when his unit was attacked by small arms fire as he was on a routine patrol in Howzemadad, Afghanistan.
Sergeant Aaron K. Kramer, 22, of Salt Lake City, was an Infantryman, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
He joined the Army in June 2006 and arrived at Fort Campbell in March 2007.

Kramer is survived by his wife, Jacklyn M. Kramer of Pleasant Prairie, WI; and parents, Richard and Shannon L. Kramer, both of Salt Lake City, UT.
A memorial service will be held in Afghanistan. Fort Campbell holds a monthly Eagle Remembrance Ceremony to honor fallen Screaming Eagles. The next ceremony will be held October 6th at 4:00pm at the Family Readiness Center.
