Parks & Recreation Basketball registration begins this weekend.

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Is your child interested in playing basketball this winter?  Or, maybe you’re interested in getting out on the court yourself?  Clarksville Parks & Recreation is proud to offer not only a Youth League, but also an Adult Basketball League this fall and winter.

Registration for the City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s youth basketball league will take place Saturday, October 9th as well as October 16th and 23rd at Governor’s Square Mall.

Youth league is open to youth ages 7-17 and costs $55.00 per player.  This fee covers the department’s costs for shirts, officials, trophies and equipment.  Individuals will be placed on teams after registration.  Registrants must bring their birth certificate for age verification.  Adult league players must sign-up as a team.  The fee for the Adult League is $350.00 per team and covers officials, trophies and equipment.

If you’re more interested in a leadership role on the court, Parks & Recreation is also seeking Youth League coaches.  All interested coaches may contact Tina Boysha at the Parks & Recreation main office.

If you are unable to attend the registration dates at Governor’s Square Mall, registration can also be done at the Kleeman, Crow and Burt Cobb Community Centers, as well as at the Parks & Recreation Main office located at 102 Public Square.  The Parks & Recreation main office is open Monday-Friday, from 8:00am – 4:30pm. Adult registration will take place through October 18th and Youth registration will continue through October 23rd.
