LBL Advisory Board to Meet November 18th

Land Between the LakesGolden Pond, KY — The Land Between The Lakes (LBL) Advisory Board will hold its next meeting on Thursday, November 18th, 2010, at LBL’s Administrative Building, 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, KY. The meeting will begin at 9:00am CST. This meeting is open to the public.
 
The 17-member board was formed to provide input and advice to the Forest Service on means of promoting public participation in the Area Plan and environmental education programs at LBL. LBL is a 170,000-acre National Recreation Area located in Kentucky and Tennessee managed by the USDA Forest Service.

The agenda includes special recognition of members who are completing their terms on the board, a demonstration of the new LBL website, orientation of new members, and discussions on environmental education. The meeting will also include general information updates on LBL activities. 

Written comments directed to the Advisory Board may be mailed to: William P. Lisowsky, Area Supervisor and Advisory Board DFO, Land Between The Lakes, 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, Kentucky 42211. Written comments must arrive by November 11th, 2010, in order for copies to be provided to the members at the meeting. Written comments received after that date will be provided to the members after the meeting.
