Clarksville, TN – Comedy on the Cumberland is once again coming to Clarksville on December 20th at 7:00pm. The Comedy event is being held to benefit the Downtown Kiwanis Club, and their childrenās programs.
Originally scheduled for December 15th the show has been rescheduled due to the hazardous weather forecast. Tickets are still available, and for those who can’t make it on the new date, refunds are available at the point of purchase.
The show will feature the very funny Henry Cho, āIām an Asian with a Southern accent. To a lot of people, that right there is funny.ā According to Comedy on the Cumberland Founder Hank Bonecutter, āHenry Cho is one of the most popular stand up comedians in the country, we are also fortunate to have Brian Bates and Barb Neligan returning to share the stage with him for the evening.ā
The 130 member Kiwanis Club participates in a variety of service programs including the annual Christmas Party that the club thows for over 200 Children from the local head start organization, complete with gifts. Frazier Allen the President of the Downtown Kiwanis Club said “These presents may be all these children may be getting for Christmas.”
In their Reading is Fundamental program The Kiwanis Club also provides every third grader in Clarksville three books per year, to help them develop a love of reading.
“The proceeds from this Comedy on the Cumberland will go to directly help us with these programs,” Allen said, “That makes this truly an event for the kids.”
This venue for this show has changed, it will be held at the Riverview Inn right in the middle of Historic Downtown Clarksville.

Tickets for the December show are available from any member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, or at any branch of F&M Bank. There are also special āVIPā tables which can be reserved by contacting the Downtown Kiwanis Club. The price for the tickets is $25.00 per person.Ā ”
