Clarksville, TN – With the temperature dropping to around 19 degrees, slushy spots on the road will freeze overnight. There will also be icy patches or black ice on the roads. Motorists are cautioned to be careful in the morning driving into work.

Clarksville Academy will be closed tomorrow February 8th, 2011 due to the snow.
Austin Peay State University
Due to hazardous weather-related conditions, Austin Peay State University will be closed Tuesday, February 8th. This includes the main campus, the Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell and Austin Peay at The Renaissance Center in Dickson.
All evening activities and classes are canceled.
City of Clarksville
City Chief of Staff Charlie Koon has notified city department heads and employees to use their discretion on Tuesday morning’s commute, and employees should notify their supervisors if they will be arriving late for work.
While all city offices will be open on Tuesday, employee safety remains a priority.

Fort Campbell schools will operate on a 2-hour delay Tuesday, February 8th.
