Youth Art Month Begins Tuesday

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemMontogmery County, TN – National Youth Art Month is March and the K-8 art programs with CMCSS will again have the art show at the Public Library during March beginning Thursday, March 3rd from 4:00pm–6:00pm at the Customs House Museum and DAC Gallery (Downtown Artist’s Co-op on Public Square).

MCHS, KHS, NEHS, WCHS and the Clarksville Academy will be participating in the high school art show beginning next week.

The exhibit features high school art from Clarksville area high school art students and the exhibit will be at the Downtown Art Co-op, near the Roxy Theatre, downtown Clarksville. The opening reception will be on March 3rd, from 5:00pm till 8:00pm, which coincides with the 1st Thursday Artwalk night! If you have never been to 1st Thursday Artwalk night, it is a free treat with openings also at the APSU Art Alumni Gallery on Strawberry Alley and art exhibited at local stores downtown. The high school art exhibit will be up from March 3rd – 31st.
