Clarksville, TN – The search is on across the country for the 2011 Maxim Hometown Hottie Contest. Clarksville model Katie Nelson is up to the challenge and needs your help to get into round two and beyond.
Katie has always liked to have her picture taken and has been modeling for the past two years. It all started as fun until she was offered a job with Nossi College of Art being the model for the photography class. Here Katie started building her portfolio and doing all different types of shoots, like 50’s glam, old hollywood, fight and sport shoots, and bathing suit/loungerie shoots.
Katie is also a Patriot Girl for Tennessee and works with the Wounded Warrior Program.
Katie is a certified nurses assistant working for a home health care / hospice ageny and also for United Chiropractic. While not caring for patients you can find Katie ring side as she is a certified ISKA official judge for Amateur Mixed Martial Arts and has been a ring girl for SSF Submission Academy here in Clarksville and she was also a Knockout Girl for Music City MMA.
Katie says she really would love to be chosen for Maxim. It is a prestigious and notable magazine and it would be an honor to represent Tennessee and especially Clarksville in the contest.
When asked what she likes about modeling, Katie said she would love to explore what may come along in the way of modeling. There is something so creative and artistic about dressing in costume, striking different poses and showing emotions to the camera. It is something so freeing and it can be an escape from day to day life. It has given her more confidence and truly makes her happy.
