April Eagle Remembrance Ceremony

Fort Campbell KY, 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – A remembrance ceremony honoring Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell, is scheduled for 4:00pm Wednesday, April 13th at the Division Headquarters building.

Remembrance ceremonies are held to honor fallen Soldiers deployed in support of Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom and are held monthly, as needed.

The April ceremony will honor the following fallen Fort Campbell Soldiers

David Senft

David SenftStaff Sergeant David P. Senft, 27, of Grass Valley, CA, was a UH- 60 Helicopter Repairman assigned to Bravo Company, 5th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in March 2002 and arrived at Fort Campbell in May 2008.

Senft is survived by his wife, Private Alyssa S. Senft of Fort Lewis, WA; son Landon N. Ryan of Sardinia, OH; mother, Lee A. Snyder of Riverbank, CA; and father David H. Senft of Grass Valley, CA.

Willie McLawhorn

Willie A. McLawhorn Jr.Sergeant Willie A. McLawhorn Jr., 23, of Conway, NC, was an Infantryman, assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in November 2006 and arrived at Fort Campbell in April 2007.

McLawhorn is survived by his mother, Diane B. McLawhorn; and father, Willie A. McLawhorn of Conway, NC. 

Sean Collins

Sean M. CollinsSergeant Sean M. Collins, 25, of Ewa Beach, WA, was an Infantryman assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in April 2006 and arrived at Fort Campbell in January 2010.

Collins is survived by his mother, Linda G. Collins of Yelm, WA, and father, Patrick B. Collins of Palolo Valley, Hawaii.

Jorge Villacis

Jorge E. VillacisCorporal Jorge E. Villacis, 24, of Sunrise, FL, Villacis was an Infantryman assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in September 2008 and arrived at Fort Campbell in February 2009.

Villacis is survived by his wife, Melissa Villacis; children Zackert T. Devereaux, Julian E. Villacis and Jocelyn E. Villacis, all of Fort Campbell KY; mother Cecilia Villacis and father Jorge E. Villacis of Hollywood, FL.

Kenneth Necochea

Kenneth E. Necochea Jr.Corporal Kenneth E. Necochea, 21, of San Diego, CA Necochea was an Infantryman assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in February 2009 and arrived at Fort Campbell in June 2009.

Necochea is survived by his mother, Donna L. Wright of San Diego; and father, Kenneth E. Necochea of Ponway, CA.

Derek Simonetta

Derek T. SimonettaCorporal Derek T. Simonetta, 21, of Redwood City, CA was an Infantryman assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in September 2008 and arrived at Fort Campbell in February 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly A. Simonetta of San Carlos, CA; mother, Tanya Simonetta of Redding, CA, and father, James E. Lemp of Redwood City, CA.

Patrick Deans

Patrick D. DeansCorporal Patrick D. Deans, 22, of Orlando, FL was an Infantryman assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in June 2007 and arrived at Fort Campbell in  November 2007.

Deans is survived by his mother, Robyn Deans of Altamonte Springs, FL; and father, Patrick Deans of Orlando.

Brian Tabada

Brian TabadaSpecialist Brian Tabada, 21, of Las Vegas, NV was a Fire Support Specialist, also known as a “Fister,” assigned to Headquarters and headquarters company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in August 2008 and arrived at Fort Campbell in January 2009.

Tabada is survived by his father, Muncko Kruize of Honolulu, Hawaii and Leinette Mahan of Las Vegas, NV.

Jonathan Pilgeram

Jonathan A. PilgeramSpecialist Jonathan A. Pilgeram, 22, of Great Falls, MT, was an Infantryman assigned to Delta Company, 1 Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in November 2008 and arrived at Fort Campbell in January 2010.

Pilgeram is survived by his father Rodney L. Pilgeram and mother, Roberta L. Pilgeram both of Great Falls, MT.
