BACH offers limited services during staff education day

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) will limit services Friday, April 29th so providers can benefit from continued medical education while other staff members sharpen their education to help save lives and foster healthy and resilient Soldiers and Families.

Nearly every BACH staff member will take part in this educational event, therefore all BACH clinics to include the Screaming Eagle Medical Home and Soldier Health Services will be closed. The Emergency and Urgent Care centers will remain open to provide acute and emergency medical care.

Both the Town Center and BACH pharmacies will also remain open Friday, April 29th. Normal operations will resume on Monday, May 2nd.

Each year, BACH leadership arranges a day to help staff refresh their educational skill set. Patient care processes and advances in medicine are reviewed so that beneficiaries receive the most current and quality medical service available.

“Education days allows us the opportunity to build the team that helps saves lives and fosters healthy and resilient people,” said hospital commander Col. John P. Cook. “We must continue to offer a partnership built upon trust.”
