CDE Power Outage Update

Clarksville Department of ElectricityClarksville, TN – As of 1:00pm, we do not have any circuits still down, so all outages are scattered and isolated for the most part. All CDE crews are working and we have crews from neighboring communities assisting with the restoration process.

The outages we currently have are caused by fallen trees with wire down and broken poles or damaged transformers. This phase of the process can be more time consuming due to the fact that trees and limbs have to be cleared by tree crews before CDE can get the bucket trucks in to restore power.  Replacing poles and transformers and replacing or repairing wire also takes time.

Crews are still working in subdivisions off Madison including E and W Coy Circle, Lacy Lane, Hillwood, Gaylewood area.  Also Dunbar Cave and Haymarket, Riverside Drive near Hwy 48/13, Hadley Road, Hickory Grove Blvd, Everett Drive, West Park, Madison Street/Golf Club Lane. And, the harder hit areas include Paradise Hill area, Porters Bluff, Cumberland Drive/Beverly Hills.

There are some locations that we have not been able to assess yet.

We cannot give any estimated times of restoration at this time.
