Pert Plus® and Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™) Donate 75,000+ Samples of Shampoo to Storm Relief Shelters in Alabama, Tennessee and GeorgiaPert Plus will partner with area MiLB™ teams and disaster relief shelters to provide flooding and tornado victims with a supply of shampoo
“We’re proud to lend support to the relief efforts currently underway across parts of the country that have been affected by recent disasters,” said Rick Cutler, marketing director for Pert Plus. “Leveraging our recent partnership with Minor League Baseball offered the best way to distribute product quickly and to get it in the hands of those who are in need.” Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi have all been victimized by heavy flooding, while Alabama and Missouri were hit hard by recent tornadoes. Representatives from the local MiLB teams will be delivering the shampoo samples to organizations such as the American Red Cross, who have identified toiletries as one of their biggest needs. “Minor League Baseball clubs take great pride in being good citizens within the communities in which they reside,” Minor League Baseball’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing Rod Meadows said. “We feel an overwhelming responsibility to assist those we recognize as being in need, including the victims of these natural disasters. Through this relationship with Pert Plus and our combined efforts, we believe that goal will be accomplished.” The donation is in support of the sponsorship between Pert Plus and Minor League Baseball involving 20 MiLB teams. Pert Plus 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, known for helping users get great, healthy looking hair without the hassle, can be found in the locker rooms of MiLB teams across the country.
