ACS Financial Readiness and Feds Feed Families 2011 Campaign

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Feds Feed Families is a government-wide effort led by the Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCO) Council, in partnership with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

From July 1st through August 31st the nationwide Feds Feed Families 2011 Campaign will run on Fort Campbell.

The need for non-perishable items has grown over the years and as summer begins and children are left without school nutrition programs putting food banks across the National Capital Region and around the country at severe shortages of non-perishable items. Federal employees and the military nationwide are stepping up to meet this challenge by gathering 2 million pounds of food for families in need this summer.

Army  Community Service (ACS) hopes you will join them in meeting this challenge as they will be collecting non-perishable food items to be distributed to on post and off post to community food assistance locations.

Non-perishable food drop-off locations are:
