Clarksville, TN – Nineteen Austin Peay State University athletics alumni and current student-athletes are scheduled to participate in Summer Commencement ceremonies, Friday, at the Dunn Center.
Six alumni were among the candidates to receive their master’s degrees during the ceremony. In addition 13 student-athletes will receive their bachelor’s degrees, including men’s basketball student-athlete Duran Roberson who will receive two degrees.
The Summer 2011 commencement is the fifth since the university began an August ceremony in 2007. Nearly 400 degree candidates were eligible for this year’s summer commencement, the largest candidate class for an August ceremony.The following APSU athletics alumni were master’s degree candidates for the 2011 Summer Commencement:

- Nicole Jamen, women’s basketball
- J.D. Sellers, football

The following APSU student-athletes were bachelor’s degree candidates for the 2011 Summer Commencement:
