Clarksville, TN – Reconciliation Evangelistic Outreach Center truly has a heart for the community and in their efforts to reach out to others; the church is excited to announce that their Singles Ministry will host its 3rd community wide praise fest in the New Providence area.
The fest, which will take place Saturday, August 27th, 2011 from 4:30pm-8:30pm, will feature live Christian music from local artists, food, spiritual expressions of pantomime and dance, informational booths and fellowship. Admission to this event is free. The fest has been purposefully renamed New Providence Gospel Praise Fest because its goal is to bring the community together.
“There’s so much talent here in Clarksville,” says R.E.O.C.’s Senior Pastor Richard Woodson, Jr.
Guests from several churches in the area will share their gifts with the community in this praise fest. “Our Singles Ministry has worked together diligently to invite people from various churches in the area to be apart of this praise fest,” he adds.
The line up of participants consists of a range of praise expressions from rappers such as Mystery Known and Toney Dabney, pantomime from Young Zealous Life, contemporary gospel selections, singers like J-Rad, Shona Dennis and Kassandra Cruz and live music from Canaan Travelers and Arnold and Company just to name a few.
“We have been in this community going on 7 years now,” says Woodson, “This is our way of reaching out to the Clarksville community as a whole as well as the single people in the area. We truly hope this praise fest touches many lives.”
According to Woodson, attendees should bring their toe-tapping shoes, lawn chairs and smiling faces. The New Providence Gospel Praise Fest will be held in the parking lot of the church, which is located at 1155 Fort Campbell Boulevard.
