City of Clarksville announces Fall Debris Clean Up 2011

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Mayor Kim McMillan has announced that the city of Clarksville Street Department will begin picking up yard debris, leaves and limbs, November 1st-November 27th, 2011.

Yard debris, such as leaves must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or cardboard boxes and placed near the street.

One of the more popular services offered by the city, the yard debris clean up effort helps keep Clarksville residents from having to haul their debris themselves, especially for those who have limited capabilities to do so.

Tree limbs must be 6′ or less in length.  The Street Department will not pick up limbs where a commercial company has pruned trees.  In order to have your yard debris picked up, you must contact the Clarksville Street Department at 931.472.3353.

Leave a message stating your address, how many biodegradable paper bags you have or if you have limbs.  The debris must be on the City’s right of way and not in the street.

Residents may also e-mail the same information to debris@cityofclarksville.com
