Head coach Dave Loos Quotes

Dave Loos“The thing that we were really bearing down on in practice since the Central Missouri game was our defense and not leaving our feet and getting back in transition; matching up some things like that.  I still wasn’t real pleased to be honest defensively. I think we can do better.  We were all right, but we can do better.”

“We just continued to work at our defense and I really liked the way Jerome Clyburn was leading us. He was pushing it and really just shot it well tonight. If we get that kind of leadership at that position and we can play some defense I think we’ve got some guys that can score and we have a chance.”

“We certainly improved in our last three practices. The defense is going to have to get better here earlier in the season and I think it will. We did some good things, we shot it well and we shot a great percentage 57-percent and held them to 40-percent. 25 assists, that’s a terrific number, so I’m pleased with all that.”
