Land Between the Lakes Begins 2012 Seasonal Camping Program Process

Land Between the LakesGolden Pond, KY – Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area is now accepting applications for the 2012 seasonal camping program.

There are a total of 113 campsites in the seasonal camping program available for two to nine months at Hillman Ferry, Piney, and Wranglers Campgrounds.  Rushing Creek, Cravens Bay, Taylor Bay, Gatlin Point, Birmingham Ferry, and Redd Hollow Campgrounds have a total of 48 short-term (one to six months) sites available.

The selection process for seasonal site reservations is designed to allow for the maximum amount of participation in the program. Completed applications must be turned in by January 6th, 2012, and the selection process will be held January 14th, for sites in Hillman Ferry and Piney Campgrounds.

Deadline for applications for sites in Wranglers, Rushing Creek, Cravens Bay, Taylor Bay, Gatlin Point, Birmingham Ferry, and Redd Hollow Campgrounds is January 13th, with the selection process taking place January 21st. All applicants must be present during the selection process, and payment is required in full upon site selection.
