Clarksville Police will do Heightened Traffic Enforcement to Improve Holiday Safety

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department will be out in force in an effort to improve traffic safety and reduce crashes. November 23rd, officers will be on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard focusing on aggressive, distracted driving, traffic, and seatbelts violations.

November 25th, commonly referred to as “Black Friday”, officers will expand the scope of their enforcement to include the area around St Bethlehem.

There will be additional Clarksville Police officers performing saturation and DUI patrols, partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office, throughout the City of Clarksville November 26th, 10:00pm – November 27th, 4:00am.

The primary purpose of the patrols is to detect and apprehend impaired drivers through aggressive traffic enforcement.
